So someone noticed we didn't have 3 colors on our maneki neko- 3 being the luckiest version of this yokai. And we love luck, right? So I cam up with two new designs that I'd love ya'll to vote on, though simple- I wanted to make sure to hear your voice to our debut design for this pin. Poll attached!!

Hello Backerkit!

I thank each of you that has decided to follow our project and everyone who participated in the polls! We're excited to get this campaign up and running, and today we have a few things to update you on! Firstly, let's show the results of the polls!

Official Order of Milestones

We plan for each milestone to unlock a pin accompanied with a mini pin, so we've paired the two in order with their popularity! All designs will follow the first midnight festival's sizes; main pins will be 1.5in with mini pins clocking in at 0.75in!
Stay tuned to learn more about each of these yokai as well as some of our ideas we've been cooking up for potential stretch goals!

Backer Competitions Ahead?

Alright, curtains raised I'd really like to do a competition for this campaign - BUT - I'm a little at a loss for what competitions to do... My current ideas are potential colorways for the Maneki-Neko, the Pipefox, and the Ningyo as a Cat, Dog, and Fish owned by our backers similarly to how we had the Cat Competition during Infernal Invasion... but I'm not sure about it yet.
So, let me know your thoughts! Would you be up to participate in a competition like that, or do you have other suggestions for a different kind of competition?

Hello Backerkit!

The CritCreations team is excited to announce our next upcoming campaign and our very first sequel; Midnight Festival 2!
This campaign will be the spiritual successor to the first Midnight Festival campaign; we plan to explore more of the rich legends of Yokai in Japanese mythology and turn what we learn into pin designs aiming to match the original style of what we did previously.
